Highly accurate, digital imaging systems are required for electronic imaging in the fields of art, printing, medical imaging and design. This symposium presents the current state-of-the-art, major challenges and future directions of highly accurate, digital color imaging in the multimedia age. Outstanding researchers from academia and industry from England, Finland, Germany, Sweden, United States and Japan have been invited to present papers. We invite all interested scientists and engineers working in color and imagings to participate in the symposium. Chiba University will be hosting the symposium and extends a cordial invitation to all who wish to attend and participate in the exchange of knowledge, technology and exchange of ideas.
